Meet
Dan Davis

Howdy,

Thank you for taking the time to visit my website. I would like to take a minute to tell you a little about myself and my family. My wife and I have been married for over 10 years and we have two incredible kids. Erica and I were married when I was 18 and she was 20. Five days after getting married we moved to Dallas, TX, and attended Christ For the Nations Institute where our son was born in 2014. After college, we became missionaries to Japan and it was during our time in Japan that our daughter was born. After moving back to America in 2016 we decided that it was time to buy our first home and we chose Brazoria County as the County to plant our roots. In 2017 we purchased our first home and during that same time I continued my education at Oral Roberts University where I graduated with Honors.

Our Manvel has an incredibly rich history! Many of the events that led to the Texas Revolution happened in our area and the original burial place of Stephen F. Austin is located just South of Manvel. The first family in Manvel was the Booth family and they still have descendants who live here today! This means that we have a tremendous amount of history to learn from, we have many needs that must be addressed, and we have a bright future ahead. It will be up to each person in this community to continue the reputation we have as a desirable location to raise a family and plant roots.

With my experience on Manvel City Council from 2019 to 2022, and service for various local non-profits, I choose to view the challenges we face not as significant issues but as tremendous opportunities. My desire has only grown to fight for our City, to ensure that each citizen’s voice is heard, and to ensure both transparency and accountability are happening in our local government.

This is why I am honored to say that I am your RIGHT candidate for becoming the next Mayor of Manvel. A saying that I love is, “The best is yet to come!” and I believe that to be true not just for our beautiful slice of Texas, but also for our state and for our nation.

Please use this website as a way to get in contact with me!

Sincerely
